Just Ask For It

Macy and Dave learn of a pay discrepancy at their company. Macy is forced to decide whether or not to confront the injustice, potentially at her partner`s expenses. As Macy`s confident exterior is shattered, Dave struggles to see the bias until he questions his own road to success. It is a short film that highlights the way we perceive salary to be the main indicator for our self-worth. It asks the audience how will we ever close the gender pay gap if so much of our merit-based system is subjective.
